Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Multiple Special Education Teachers are sought to serve K-12 students across diverse grade levels for the 2025-2026 school year in a vibrant Illinois munity. These full academic year contract roles offer an opportunity to specialize in either elementary, middle, high school, or transition-aged students, tailoring instruction to meet a wide range of learning needs.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse disabilities
  • Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote academic and social success
  • Utilizing evidence-based instructional strategies appropriate to developmental and academic levels
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress and behavior, adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Creating a supportive learning environment that fosters independence, confidence, and lifelong learning

Desired qualifications and experience :

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of academic and behavioral interventions for students with varying needs
  • Excellent munication and collaboration skills
