A company is looking for a Lead Piping Stress Engineer 1 - Nuclear.

Key Responsibilities

Provides technical direction and supervision to project team members, establishing schedules and budgets

Reviews and approves calculations and designs, ensuring technical soundness and compliance with project requirements

Prepares and reviews specifications, bid evaluations, and complex reports / studies, ensuring quality and accuracy

Required Qualifications

BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Aerospace, or Structural / Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program

P.E. license

10 or more years of relevant experience

Extensive knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME B&PV Section III piping codes

Knowledge of the design, selection, and application of pipe supporting elements
