Responsibilities :
- Medication Administration : Accurately administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with facility protocols and physician orders. Ensure proper documentation of medication administration and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervising nurse.
- Resident Monitoring : Observe and document changes in residents' conditions, including vital signs and any adverse reactions to medications. Communicate observations and concerns to the nursing staff and assist with any necessary follow-up actions.
- Health and Safety Compliance : Maintain a clean and organized medication storage area. Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic and safe environment for residents.
Qualifications :
Certifications : Current certification as a Nurse Aide (CNA) and Medication Aide (CMA) as required by Nebraska regulations.Experience : Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or similar environment, is preferred but not required.Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed, and to perform tasks that require physical stamina and endurance.Benefits :
