A Clinic Director at CI Pediatric Therapy Centers (CI) is a vital member of an interdisciplinary, collaborative team that focuses on providing the highest quality of comprehensive care to each client to allow them to reach their maximum potential. A Clinic Director at CI is responsible for overseeing all business operations of their assigned clinic location. The Clinic Director will monitor and ensure the highest level of facility operations, family satisfaction, community reputation, company branding, staff morale, and experience within their clinic location. The Clinic Director works collaboratively with their Clinical Supervisor(s) (CS) to ensure their therapy staff are providing high-quality therapy while meeting and exceeding billable expectations.
Position Expectations :
- Make decisions that continuously improve service to clients (accessible, safe, efficient, and personalized)
- Drive clinic metrics by meeting and exceeding company targets, including : overall clinic productivity, individual therapist productivity, weekly arrival rate
- Run a successful and profitable clinic
Create a culture of high staff morale and low employee turnover
Manage an efficient clinic budget to ensure spending is proactive and upholds CI quality standardsTake action on profit and loss dataSupervise daily staffing, scheduling, customer service, and financial performance of clinicCollaborate with the Clinical Supervisor(s) to ensure the quality of therapy remains highEnforce that all new staff members are being trained per CI standards in your clinic and have met expected timelines for independenceCommunicate and enforce company policies and procedures effectively and consistently to staffCreate a high value clinic reputation in the community via word of mouth and web presenceObtain and maintain an online rating of 4.9 or higher out of 5 for the following : Google Review, Yelp, Facebook and Instagram.
Identify and engage with community partners, including conducting market research on new providers or resources in the area.Ensure clinic staff and families are supported at all timesIdentify, de-escalate, and solve client and family concerns as they arise acting as final authority for your clinicActively participate in the onboarding and offboarding of employees including identifying hiring needs, participating in interviews, covering staff leaves, and terminating employeesBrief with HR after a departure to review any exit interview feedback and develop an action plan for any next steps or areas of improvementCollaborate with Human Resources and / or your Clinical Supervisor(s) to resolve employee relations and performance concernsManage all facility operations and maintenance needs to ensure your clinic is safe, clean, organized, and represents the CI brand in an exceptional mannerFacilitate effective and professional clinic meetingsCommunicate professionally and timely with others via person, phone, email, and project management programsProactively manage behaviors and safety risks in the clinicResponsive outside of regular office hours in case of emergencyEmbody CI's core valuesLeadership
Collaborate with other leaders to effectively communicate and implement new initiativesRepresent the Pediatric Therapy industry and CI in the community, state, and nationallyCreate supervisory systems and provide supervision for team members as neededIdentify and ensure implementation of continuing education and training opportunities for your team members, including shareback of knowledge for both individual team members and the clinic team as a whole.
Identify team members that need corrective action including PIPs and implement plans as needed to successfully support the team member in meeting expectations, quickly.Consistently meet documentation requirements and have impeccable documentation as applicable to the roleEngage in clinic and discipline / department activities, such as clinic or team meetings, discipline meetings, and staff training days as applicableUphold CI Missions and values and follows CI policies & procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, processes manuals, and other internal documents / forms of communicationMaintain a clean and functional workspace(s)Other duties as assignedWhat You'll Need To Succeed In This Role :
At least 1 year of experience at CI in a leadership position or at least 3 years of managerial experience outside of CIAbility to firmly establish and maintain professional supervisory boundaries with your employeesAbility to effectively delegate and enforce oversightResponsible management of financesAbility to determine the best interest of the companyAbility to triage and assess urgency of prioritiesAbility to handle multiple work assignments and capable of successfully handling various and sundry tasksStrong, professional, and adaptable communication skills based on the nature of the conversation / audience, including the ability to navigate challenging conversations in a clear, empathetic, solutions-focused mannerExcellent organizational, planning, and attention to detailAbility to critically think and use problem solving skills in a proactive, innovative, and solutions-focused wayAbility to work independently, take initiative, and make sound decisionsConfident and successful in leading, engaging, and motivating a team in a fun, functional, and strengths-focused mannerHave a general understanding of company policies and processes, and the importance or 'why' behind them. Clinic / office settingMust be available to support your clinic location during high traffic times and be responsive to needs outside of operating hours.Full time position, working hours may fluctuate from one week to another, all to meet the needs of the particular location depending on the time of year and season.Minimum productivity of therapy staff at the clinic must be above 55% and minimum can be higher based on average billable hours per month of location.Physical Requirements :Must be able to move individuals and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be physically able to work around small children including sitting, standing, running, bending, etc.Benefits Offered
