We are looking for a talented Software Developer to design, implement, and maintain high-quality application systems. In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and enhancing software programs while ensuring optimal performance. This position is based in Columbus, Ohio, and offers an opportunity to contribute to both technical support and development initiatives.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, test, and debug both new and existing software programs to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Maintain and enhance the organization’s public website, APIs, mobile applications, and other system components.
- Provide technical support to end users, resolve database issues, and troubleshoot software errors.
- Monitor production systems for performance, identify errors, and address emergency technical problems.
- Optimize existing code and database solutions to improve performance and reduce resource usage.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Assist in designing and implementing technical architectures for software and database systems.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for software processes and configurations.
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications as required.
- A 2-year degree in Information Technology, completion of a coding bootcamp, or equivalent experience is required; a 4-year degree in a related field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in software development or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as .NET Core, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and the Entity Framework.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and provide training or support to end users.
