Overview

An organization within Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector, Microelectronics Design and Applications (MDA), is seeking a Sr Staff Manufacturing Systems Engineer to oversee a large transition in our manufacturing line. The role will be responsible for developing key strategies, metrics, and communicating progress over time. A deep understanding of superconducting manufacturing and strong communication skills are essential. This position requires on-site work at Linthicum, MD and / or Annapolis Junction, MD as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage schedules for manufacturing transitions
• Develop and track technical progress metrics (TPMs)
• Develop risk and opportunity management strategies and metrics
• Support program reviews
• Utilize superconducting electronics fabrication experience to shape transition plans for manufacturing lines
• Coordinate between Chief Engineers, SEIT leads, engineering staff, suppliers, customers, and the PMO to achieve program objectives

Salary and Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range : $179,600.00 - $282,200.00

The salary range is a guideline; Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions when determining base salary offers. Eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses where applicable. Long-term incentives may apply for certain positions. Additional Information

On-site work location : Linthicum, MD and / or Annapolis Junction, MD as needed. Relocation assistance may be available. Travel : Yes, up to 10%.
