Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Labor & Delivery position requiring a NY RN license and EPIC EMR experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting

Night shift schedule, 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

Care for obstetrical patients in the Labor & Delivery department

Uses EPIC EMR system, prior experience required

No local candidates accepted who reside in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties

Flu vaccination required unless medically exempt with documentation from a licensed professional

No blocked scheduling allowed

More than 3 call outs in a 13 week period will result in contract termination with required make-up shifts

Requested time off must be submitted with application

Travel pairs are not allowed for this position

Requirements

Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration

Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience

Certification in BLS from AHA or RQI required

EPIC EMR experience required

No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
