Vice President of Drug Safety

A company is looking for a Vice President of Drug Safety.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic vision for the drug safety function, aligning with corporate goals

Lead pharmacovigilance operations, including safety data collection and analysis from various sources

Oversee the preparation and submission of safety reports to health authorities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

MD in a relevant clinical or scientific field

Minimum 15 years of pharmacovigilance experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role

Broad therapeutic experience, particularly with Rare Diseases or neuromuscular diseases

Proven success in managing safety surveillance, signal detection, and regulatory reporting

Deep knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and pharmacovigilance regulations
