American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with Epic charting proficiency and ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Position is in the ICU of an acute care hospital with a Level 3 Trauma designationNight shift schedule : 3x12-hour shifts, 18 : 30 to 07 : 00Nurse-to-patient ratios usually 1 : 2, with occasional 1 : 3 assignmentsFloat required within scope to Med Surg (1 : 5) or ER depending on census needsEpic EMR use is mandatory and recent Epic experience is requiredCare for patients with CRRT, cardiac surgery, CABG, vent management, DKA, and hemodynamic monitoringCentral line set up and management, ART line, and CVP requiredMinimum of 4 weekend shifts required in a 4-week periodNo on-call responsibilitiesDaily duties include managing critically ill patients with complex conditions, multiple infusions, ventilators, and advanced linesTravelers are required to complete all mandatory modules before startingZero-fault attendance policy : any missed shift counts as unexcused; multiple missed shifts may result in contract cancellationScrub color varies by unitParking is free on siteMaximum of 5 days requested time off (excluding holidays) is permitted during the 13-week assignment; no blocked or special scheduling requests allowedLocals are accepted at the same rate as travelers\n \n

Active Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at the time of considerationMinimum of two successful travel assignments in the ICU with no performance or attendance issuesEpic charting experience within the last year is strictly requiredBLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications requiredThree years of recent hospital ICU experience preferredBasic dysrhythmia training requiredNo pending license, background, or license issues permitted1 reference from a manager or unit supervisor in the relevant specialty within the past year required\n
