Physical Therapist — Outpatient Geriatrics & Cardiopulmonary

Location : Monroeville, PA

Lifeline Physical Therapy is a therapist-owned outpatient practice with eight Pittsburgh-area clinics. We focus on clinical quality, patient relationships, and steady professional growth.

About the role

We're hiring a Physical Therapist for our Monroeville clinic with a primary focus on geriatrics and cardiopulmonary care and a typical outpatient orthopedic mix . You'll also help support a secondary prevention & wellness / lifestyle medicine track.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat older adults and cardiopulmonary patients; manage related orthopedic needs (gait, balance, strength, pain, post-op).
  • Build individualized, evidence-based plans of care (graded exercise, endurance training, pacing / breathing strategies, manual therapy as appropriate, education).
  • Contribute to prevention & wellness programming (falls risk reduction, activity coaching, HEP adherence, community resources).
  • Communicate with patients / families and referring providers; document clearly and on time
  • Collaborate with other PTs and clinic staff; participate in case reviews / in-services.

Qualifications

  • Required : Pennsylvania PT license (or eligibility).
  • Preferred : Interest / experience in geriatrics and / or cardiopulmonary rehabilitation ; comfortable in an outpatient setting with an outpatient orthopedic mix.
  • Strong communication, reliability, and team mindset. New grads with a geriatric / cardiopulmonary interest are welcome.

  • PTO : 3+ weeks minimum
  • CEU support : Continuing education encouraged. Generous allowance
  • Collaborative, well-run clinic with mentorship and regular case collaboration

    • Nice to have

  • Experience with balance & fall prevention, gait training, endurance programming, cardiopulmonary exercise prescription, and patient education.
  • Interest in outcomes tracking and simple program / process improvements.
