Overview

Diesel Mechanic / Technician – All Levels opportunity at Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment. Join a leading heavy truck and equipment manufacturer, wholesale retailer, and service provider. This role focuses on hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and general maintenance to support our customers and operations.

Responsibilities

Perform hydraulic pump, cylinder, valve, and hose work; diagnose and repair diesel engines.
Weld using MIG and stick processes as needed.
Troubleshoot automotive electrical systems and perform related repairs.
Use and maintain your own tools; demonstrate safe and efficient work practices.
Collaborate with team to ensure timely and quality service delivery.

Qualifications

3+ years experience with hydraulic pumps and diesel engine repair is preferred.

Hands-on expertise with hydraulic systems, including pumps, cylinders, valves, and hoses.

Skilled in MIG and stick welding.

Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting.

Diesel engine repair experience is a plus.

Must have your own tools and be confident using them.

Valid driver's license required; Class A or B CDL is a bonus.

Benefits & Schedule

Pay up to $42 / hour (based on location and experience).

Sign-On Bonus ($1500–$2500 depending on location and experience).

$250 quarterly tool allowance ($1,000 / year).

$200 annual boot allowance.
