We are looking for a meticulous and dependable File Clerk to join our team in Addison, Illinois, on a contract basis. In this role, you will manage and organize confidential employee records, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of sensitive information. This is an on-site position requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities :
- Organize and file employee records systematically, ensuring alphabetical order and easy retrieval.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling personnel and HR-related documents.
- Retrieve and re-file records promptly upon request.
- Perform light physical tasks, such as sitting, standing, bending, and reaching, throughout the workday.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of all filing processes.
- Manage document scanning and e-filing as required.
- Handle file boxes safely and efficiently during organization efforts.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive documents.
- Proficiency in alphabetizing and managing files independently.
- Comfortable performing light physical activities throughout the day.
- Experience with paper filing, scanning, and e-filing systems.
- At least one year of relevant experience working with file management.
- Dependable and capable of working efficiently without close supervision.
