Inbound Administrator - Distribution Center Alignment Team
This is a Hybrid role that is based in the Bloomington, MN Metro area. Job Tasks, Responsibilities, Accountabilities 50%
- Standardize and align processes across all distribution centers, ensuring consistency in operations, reporting, and execution.
- Represent DC Alignment Team in Cycle (Continuous Improvement), drive meaningful change with measurable results.
- Manage projects related to operational improvements, technology implementation, and procedural rollouts.
- Train and support distribution teams, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems, workflows, and best practices.
- Analyze performance data, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve productivity and service levels.
- Consult with DC leadership to ensure alignment on plans and key initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert in distribution center operations, providing guidance and technical support to distribution teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and internal policies.
- Present operational requirements for WMS to build capabilities
Specialty Responsibilities (Inbound) - 50%
Inbound processing subject matter expert for QBP - Inbound Cycle Champion coordinating and advising on all Inbound related opportunities and serve as a consultant to DCsOwnership of Inbound process documentation, edits and upkeep (Quality Manage Systems)Establish and proactively monitor and maintain Inbound KPI's, identify risks and recommend actions for site teams to course correctDefine processing capacity and manage demand forecasting of Inbound volume based on site specific DC needsWork to optimize transportation execution by optimizing shipping systems and schedulesAdvise Supplier Compliance Manager team on a standardized and viable approach to RRX and ensure product prep projects are completed on time and within budgetConduct regular alignment meetings with each DC to drive consistency across networkOptimize and standardize suppliers and customers driven business rules and evaluate all new client requirements for operational effectivenessProactively perform audits of supplier compliance requirements (supplier scorecard)Consult with DC leadership to align on plans to accomplish seasonal Inbound volume spikes and to adhere to SLA expectations year roundAct as a liaison between purchasing, sales, and DC to ensure inventory is received in time for sales initiativesOther tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Previous distribution center operations experience (2-5 years)Intermediate to expert knowledge of software systems (SAP, HighJump, MS Office, JIRA, etc)High School Diploma RequiredProject Management : Direct experience on project teams, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering results.Tech & Data : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, warehouse management systems.Influence & Leadership : Demonstrated ability to drive change, history of aligning teams, and getting results without direct authority and supervisionProblem-Solving : Strong analytical and decision-making skills to tackle operational challenges, with a passion for details and ability to draw conclusions with mathematical and analytical aptitudeAdaptability : Comfortable working under pressure, through multiple tasks and balancing competing priorities.Able to provide informal direction to others to maintain consistency and quality of workWilling to take unpopular stance based on data - to drive the team to the best solutionOther Related Criteria :
Domestic TravelAbility to travel domestically 3 or more times a year which includes flying by plane and driving a motor vehicle.
