Responsibilities

Develop and execute the strategic vision for engineering operations in alignment with organizational goals.

Lead and mentor a team of managers, engineers, and technical staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

Collaborate with senior leadership to align engineering strategies with business needs and growth initiatives.

Implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure optimal performance of equipment, systems, and infrastructure.

Promote energy efficiency and sustainability practices across all .

Manage Pharmaceutical vendor relationships and service contracts, ensuring performance standards and cost controls are met.

Develop and maintain emergency response plans, safety protocols, and business continuity strategies.

Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting engineering.

Lead capital projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including health, safety, and environmental standards.

Represent the organization in interactions with regulatory agencies and industry associations.

Provide leadership during crisis situations to ensure the safety of personnel and protection of assets.

Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the and engineering teams.

Prepare and present operational reports, metrics, and strategic updates to Pharmaceutical executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Pharmaceutical related field (Master's preferred)
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, preferably in a Pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
