About The Position We are seeking a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, and features a flexible start date, working four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday. The provider will manage both acute and chronic conditions in an outpatient setting, with the support of a medical assistant each day. Job Details Location : Oregon Start Date : Dec 1, 2025 LOA : 96 days Provider Type Needed : Family Nurse Practitioner Schedule : Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday; 8 : 20am-6pm Responsibilities and Duties Provide care for acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes and hypertension Perform procedures such as casting, IUD insertion, Nexplanon placement, biopsies, toenail removal, and, optionally, vasectomy Manage patients independently while collaborating with an assigned medical assistant Deliver patient-centered care and support ongoing treatment plans Adapt to flexibility in procedural assignments based on provider comfort Additional Information Must hold an active Oregon nurse practitioner license Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner required Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Experience and confidence working independently are essential Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
