Groundskeeper / Farm Laborer needed for Beautiful Estate and Stable in Wellington!

A Private Estate and Stable is seeking a highly dependable, motivated, hands-on laborer to join a collaborative and growing team. This position is full-time and offers a competitive hourly rate and benefits package.
Schedule : In season (November - mid-May), must work weekends with two weekdays off. Off-season, M-F. Potential for overtime.
Summary :
The Farm Laborer / Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the pristine conditions of the Estate under the direction of the Estate Manager. Knowledge of groundskeeping practices and appropriate, safe use of equipment is required.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Preventative Maintenance i.e. gutter cleaning, roof cleaning, equipment cleaning, window cleaning, painting, exterior washing of buildings / patio.
- Equestrian Support : i.e. cleaning paddocks, sand rings, horse walker equipment, and grand prix field cleanup.
- Landscape Maintenance : light irrigation work, planting, weeding, mulching, pruning, and watering plants.
- Daily Walkthroughs : including the pickup of debris, driveway maintenance, and identify potential areas of concern.
- Assist Estate Manager and Equestrian Team and other staff when requested with any operational maintenance tasks.
- Proficient and safe use of the following equipment and tools is required :

Lawn mowerChainsaws,Small hand / gardening toolsQ ualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Knowledge :
General knowledge of grounds, irrigation systems, landscaping techniques and practices a plusPrevious experience working on an equestrian estate, grounds or golf course a plusMust be physically able to bend, kneel, walk, and work outdoors in various weather conditions and for extended periods of time each dayMust be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. at a timeCollaborate with all team members.
