Position Overview
We're looking for friendly, dependable individuals who enjoy helping others and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Store Sales Associate I, you'll play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience, supporting donation processing, and maintaining an organized, mission-driven thrift store.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and represent The Salvation Army's mission and values
- Greet donors and shoppers warmly and assist with transactions at the register
- Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and handle all cash transactions accurately
- Open, close, and balance cash drawers per TSA cash handling policies
- Maintain a clean and organized store by restocking, straightening racks, and cleaning work areas
- Ensure merchandise is displayed properly and replenished regularly
- Follow all policies regarding the sale of donated goods
- Work collaboratively with team members and store management
- Support store productivity benchmarks and contribute to sales goals
- Be available for flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
