Position Summary :

The Payroll Assistant will support the Payroll and HR teams with processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and ensuring accurate and timely compensation. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with processing multi-state payroll in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy
• Enter, update, and maintain employee payroll data in HR / payroll systems
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and reconciliations
• Support HR and Payroll teams with special projects as assigned

Qualifications :

Pay Range : $ 20- 25 / HR depending on experience

Physical Requirements :

This role may require sitting or standing for extended periods, repetitive data entry, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds (such as files, boxes, or payroll documents).
