Position Description :
CGI Federal is currently seeking skilled Software Developers for future projects with prior experience supporting the Social Security Administration (SSA).
- This role will be onsite in Woodlawn, MD (no remote). Candidates should reside within 2 hours of Woodlawn, MD
Your future duties and responsibilities :
Ensuring reliability and availability of Pega’s Business Rule Engine (BRE) and Business Process Management (BPM) Platform, including capacity planning,Identifying reusable functionality and implementing it as a reusable component,Creating customized Flows and Actions forms to align with business requirements,Creating Activities and steps for implementing Core Business Logic,Creating high level Enterprise Class Structures,Identifying reporting requirements to general business functionality, non-functionality needs and required data attributes for BPM specific workflows,Preparing Role Based Access groups,Providing security-based roles and privileges at operator level,Customizing user and manager portals,Troubleshooting and communicating with Pega Global Customer Support team to resolve technical issues which require hotfixes,Validating code for compliance of standards and Pega Guardrails,Testing and Debugging using Tracer and Rules inspector,Creating File Listeners for automatic creation of work objects, andMonitoring applications to identify necessary configuration changes, maintaining data integrity, improving the user experience, and staying abreast of security issues.Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
The Developer shall possess a BS / BA or equivalent with a minimum of five years of information technology experience. They shall create new and modifies existing workflow configurations to maximize production and operating efficiency. The individual in this position shall be responsible for researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs. The individual shall troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace. The individual shall provide architectural guidance and detailed specifications for proposed solutions. They shall have a minimum of three years of experience with supporting an Inspector General or law enforcement agency.
Preferred Certification : Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) Certification, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Certified AWS Solutions Architect
