About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of hospital / specialty experience

License : Active RN License in Texas required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

• 2+ years of hospital / specialty experience
• ICU experience preferred

Description :

Shifts can vary and may occur between 07 : 00 and 23 : 30.

Four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts are possible.

This unit has 8 beds with a patient ratio of 1 nurse to 2 patients.

Documentation system used is Meditech.

Floating may be required as needed.

Candidates must possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Candidates without the required experience will not be considered.

Preferred candidates will have PACU or day surgery experience.

Hair should be neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors.

Facial hair should be clean and neatly trimmed.

Visible body art should be covered whenever possible.

Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.

Attendance policies will be strictly enforced.
