This isn't your average auto repair shop. Open since 1967, it has become a trusted neighborhood staple—serving three generations of drivers in the Bronx. With 11 bays, 10 lifts, including an alignment rack, and a full suite of diagnostic tools, the shop stays busy with about 600 cars rolling through every month. From domestic to Asian to European makes, this team handles it all.

The crew is talented and experienced, but now it's time to add a leader who can keep things humming, mentor the next generation of techs, and make sure customers continue to leave happy.

The Role

The Shop Foreman / Manager is the heartbeat of the operation. This role blends leadership, technical know-how, and customer care. If you like turning wrenches but also thrive on guiding a team and solving problems, this could be the perfect fit.

Here's what the job looks like day-to-day :

Lead the Crew : Coach, mentor, and motivate a mix of seasoned technicians and up-and-comers. Step in with tools when needed and set the tone for quality and teamwork.

Use Your Smarts : Apply strong diagnostic skills, leverage advanced scan tools, and share your knowledge with others.

Keep It Moving : Write accurate service tickets and estimates, manage workflow, and keep the shop running efficiently.

Talk the Talk : Step up with customers when needed, making sure they understand their repairs and leave confident in the service.

Drive Success : Help boost performance, including growing the shop's average repair order (ARO), and ensure every job is done right the first time.

What We're Looking For

At least 10 years of professional automotive experience.

Leadership skills that inspire confidence and respect.

Sharp diagnostic and repair skills across a wide range of vehicles.

Ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members.

Experience with shop management software (Protractor) and digital vehicle inspections (AutoVitals).

A customer-first mindset with solid communication skills.

The Perks

Salary : $51,000 – $55,000 base (depending on experience).

Earnings Potential : $127,000+ annually with attainable bonuses.
