Travelers are required to work every other weekend and will float to other Med / Surg and Tele areas as needed. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Neuro to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Med / Surg nursing, particularly in managing patients with diverse neuroscience diagnoses, including strokes and seizures. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our patients while ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and standards. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric patients on a Neuroscience unit. Monitor and manage patients with neurological conditions such as CVA, intracranial bleeds, and seizures. Administer medications and treatments, including IV therapy and blood product administration. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of direct Med / Surg experience. Candidate must have completed at least 2 successful travel assignments prior to applying. Current ACLS (preferred), BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
