Responsibilities Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac Cath Lab setting Handles Cardiac Cath Lab procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, coronary atherectomy, IABP and Impella insertion / removal, orbital and rotobladder atherectomy, percutaneous coronary intervention, TAVR, Watchman, and Mitraclip Care for adult patients across young, middle, and older age groups 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM, with rotating day off Rotating call required, including 1 week of call per 5-week rotation, with Friday-Sunday consecutive coverage Required to cover 5 late shifts and 1 Saturday per 5-week schedule 30-minute call back time required Epic EMR used; experience preferred but not required Must work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment, or two holidays if covering winter holidays Local candidates (within 100 miles) are not accepted; candidates residing 50-99.9 miles away may be eligible for one 13-week assignment with no extensions Former employees must have a minimum one-year separation before returning as a traveler Orientation includes up to 5 hours for modules and 2 hours for Epic training, which may be completed pre-start or during orientation Travelers must commit to the confirmed start date Scrub experience is highly emphasized for this role Requirements Active VA or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Recent Cath Lab RN experience required Strongly prefer candidates with scrub experience Experience with Impella and IABP insertion / removal required Experience with TAVR, Watchman, and Mitraclip procedures required Must provide two professional references for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623018.
