Overview

Job Description : Boart Longyear is looking to hire a Payroll Time Administrator to work in our corporate office in West Valley City, UT, supporting our Drilling Services business. The Payroll Time Administrator performs a variety of clerical office duties such as maintaining files, keeping records, preparing schedules, compiling data for reports, searching and investigating information contained in files, processing departmental documents, posting records and typing correspondence and reports from rough drafts. You may also be responsible to sort mail, proof-read, complete forms and check for accuracy, answer telephones and type. May operate general business machines such as copier, calculator, computer, fax or other similar machines.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Payroll and accounts payable experience preferred.
• Familiarity with expense reporting and multistate payroll practices.
• Experience with Dayforce strongly preferred; Oracle timekeeping system knowledge a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, and reporting).
• High level of data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively across multiple departments.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ability to work additional hours as needed.
