Work hours : Full Time, Nights

Department Highlights

  • Labor Rooms : 8
  • Operating Rooms (OR) : 2
  • Triage Rooms : 2
  • Physician Coverage : No hospitalists; care provided exclusively by private physicians
  • Anesthesia : In-house 24 / 7; staffed only by anesthesiologists (no CRNAs)
  • Deliveries : Approximately 75–100 per month

Here’s What You Need

Nursing Diploma Nursing Required Or

Associate's Degree Nursing Required Or

Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred

1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Required

2 years of labor and delivery experience is highly preferred

RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required And

NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Required And

CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required And

NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Required And

IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring if newly hired with experience in perinatal nursing AND never taken IFM 6 Months Required Or

IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring if no experience in perinatal nursing 18 Months Required And

AWHONN - Advanced Fetal Monitoring after six months of working with EFM 18 Months Required
