Job Details

We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team.

The ideal candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented professional with experience and / or interest in family law.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide litigation support to attorneys specializing in family law
  • Prepare and manage all types of family law legal documentation, such as petitions, complaints, motions, and pleadings.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and fact-finding investigations to assist in case preparation.
  • Maintain case management system and ensure all case files are up-to-date, organized, and easily accessible.
  • Coordinate and schedule client meetings, court dates, and other related appointments.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and legal proceedings.
  • Complete clerical and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in family law.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with initial pleadings, mediation, temporary orders, discovery, trial, etc.
  • Exceptional research and report-writing abilities.
  • Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Must possess a high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Experience with electronic filing in state and federal courts is a plus.
