Collaborate with internal IT and clinical teams to ensure seamless network updates. Document work completed, port mappings, and device configurations. Support network troubleshooting as needed during and post-deployment. Ensure healthcare compliance and minimize impact to patient care systems during work. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco switching technologies (Catalyst, Nexus). Strong understanding of VLANs, port security, and access control. Familiarity with healthcare IT environments and HIPAA-compliant practices is a plus. Ability to travel to different buildings / sites in San Diego as needed. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) preferred but not required. Job Overview :
- MetroSys is seeking experienced Cisco Network Engineers to support a major switch preparedness project as part of an ISE / NAC implementation (no ISE configuration experience required).
- This is a 12-month, onsite contract role supporting a healthcare client in San Diego, CA .
