JOB SCOPE SUMMARY –
The Territory Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers while driving sales growth within an assigned region. This role involves identifying customer needs, providing HVAC / R product expertise, and delivering tailored solutions to support their business goals. The Territory Manager collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, supports branch operations, and actively seeks new business opportunities to expand market presence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE –
A. EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to three years of related experience and / or training in inside sales, customer service, or HVAC / R distribution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience should include order processing, quoting, and customer account management. Familiarity with HVAC / R products and systems is strongly preferred. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
B. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Possess strong typing skills (30–50 WPM), is proficient with computers, and is comfortable using 10-key calculators and standard office equipment. Highly organized, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with active listening abilities, are essential for effectively engaging with customers, direct reports, and team members. Familiarity with CRM systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
