Strategic Business Solutions Associate
The Strategic Business Solutions (SBS) Associate serves as an outsourced accountant for agriculture clients. They will work as a part of a team to provide a valuable client experience. They are tasked with handling the day-to-day accounting and finance functions for their clients.
Responsibilities include :
- Acting as an outsourced accounting specialist and responsible for the day-to-day accounting needs for clients, acting as their accounting department
- Providing financial analysis in an effort to make recommendations to streamline the accounting and finance operations of clients
- Preparing reports and other documents as requested, including financial statements, tax forms, sales tax reports, and others as requested
- Being a key point of contact for the client on day to day accounting matters
- Supporting other outsourced accountants and their clients
- Working as part of a team to provide accounting services for clients
- Reconciling the client bank statements
- Calculating month end journal entries and balancing GL accounts to support the CAS Controller
- Utilizing cloud-based technology
- Using excellent judgment and analysis to make recommendations to streamline the accounting and finance operations of clients
- Supporting other outsourced accountants and their clients
- Seeking out opportunities to improve the client relationship and cross sell other BMA services
