The Team
The Revenue Department is critical to Clearwater Analytics' growth. Spread across five verticals : Sales Operations, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Sales Development, and Partnerships, the Revenue team drives strategic initiatives and growth.
The Role
The primary goal of the Solutions Engineer is to understand and execute the Enfusion sale methodology (MEDDPICC), act as a subject matter expert and consultative resource during the sales process, assist in discovery and sales strategy to demonstrate the Enfusion value proposition. The role liaises with Onboarding, Marketing, Partnerships, and Product. The product mandate includes :
- Provide feedback on industry trends
- Identify product limitations hindering growth
- Support GTM strategy via quantification of prospect and client demand for new features and modules
The role acts as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, driving new business from prospects and existing customers, and meeting / exceeding sales quotas.
What You'll Do
Act as the primary technical point of contact for key stakeholders within institutional asset managers and asset owner prospective clients.Lead technical discovery sessions; document operating models, requirements, pain points.Evaluate needs with a consultative approach; collaborate with sales; deliver solution-focused demonstrations to business and technical stakeholders.Field product requirements and interact with the product team when gaps exist.Use tools like Salesforce, Aha!, and Confluence to drive quarterly product strategy reviews.Collaborate with the deal team to develop a competitive strategy.Understand the competitive landscape and differentiators of the Enfusion platform across business lines.Continuously evolve domain expertise with current platform developments (SaaS and Managed Services).Prepare high-quality responses to RFI / RFPs.Demonstrate strong technical acumen and assess customer requirements; handle objections and tailor demonstrations.Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders from procurement to delivery.Use quantifiable metrics to help clients reduce cost / time or improve scale / effectiveness by addressing business pain points.What You'll Need
12+ years' experience in a sales engineering or implementation role focused on front-middle office technology for asset managers and asset owners.Experience in complex enterprise sales in FinTech space.Strong understanding of asset management operating models, lifecycle, and vendor landscape.Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.Experience with RFI / RFP processes.Willingness to travel onsite to meet prospects and clients.Ability to work with internal stakeholders to quantify and influence product direction.Salary Range
$190,000 - $215,000 base + commission
