WHO WE ARE :
STAHL Companies provides the Program Management for its Channel of Commercial Technology companies in Government that consist of Small Businesses and New Technology start-ups.
STAHL advocates for policies that can improve government services and maintain our government's competitive advantage, by bringing more technology into government programs.
STAHL Companies advocates on behalf of our nation's innovative, new technology and small businesses looking to work with the U.S. government. We do this by aligning the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem.
The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the government.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Combative Instructors to join our team!
Responsibilities :
Deliver Hands-On Tactical Instruction :
- Conduct high-impact, practical instruction in ground-fighting, grappling, close-quarters combat, and hand-held weapons techniques (including knives and sticks) with and without tactical gear.
- Train personnel in proper body mechanics, control, and submission techniques to enhance combat effectiveness and personal safety during operational engagements.
- Teach effective striking techniques using fists, feet, elbows, and knees, incorporating combinations from multiple angles under dynamic and high-pressure scenarios.
I mplement U.S. Navy-Compliant Detainee Handling :
Lead instruction on compliant and noncompliant cuffing, escorting, and detainee-handling procedures in alignment with U.S. Navy Noncompliant Boarding—Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) Course of Instruction (COI).Demonstrate and reinforce safe and effective marshaling and control tactics during realistic force-on-force training evolutions.Conduct Weapons Training :
Serve as a certified Small Arms Marksmanship Instructor (SAMI), responsible for delivering comprehensive weapons handling, safety, and marksmanship instruction to active-duty and reserve personnel.Assess and certify shooters in accordance with Navy Expeditionary Combat Command standards and equivalent joint force requirements.Maintain Operational Readiness and Discipline :
Leverage prior military experience and subject matter expertise to instill discipline, resilience, and readiness in students through realistic, combat-focused training.Ensure training content reflects current tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and supports NECC mission objectives.Training Support and Curriculum Development :
Support the design and continuous improvement of training modules and instructional materials, drawing on real-world experience and up-to-date combat trends.Collaborate with NECC leadership and training analysts to align course content with emerging threats, mission needs, and doctrinal updates.Security and Compliance :
Maintain compliance with all operational security (OPSEC) protocols and ensure safeguarding of classified information in accordance with a current Secret security clearance.Act as a role model and enforce adherence to safety, ethical, and professional standards throughout all phases of training.Qualifications :
o Black Belt certification in any martial art with a minimum of four years of experience conducting the following techniques and procedures both with and without tactical equipment :
o Ground-fighting and / or grappling
o Practicing proper body control and submission
o Close-quarters striking (hand-to-hand combat)
o Learning to effectively use the body’s natural weapons, such as fists, feet, elbows, and knees to deliver
o a combination of blows from multiple angles of attack
o Hand-held weapons
o Using knives and sticks
o Detainee-handling and cuffing
o Implementing compliant and noncompliant cuffing, escorting, and marshaling techniques consistent with the tactics and procedures taught in the U.S. Navy Noncompliant Boarding-Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure COI
