Summary
As a Planner I, you will be involved in the day-to-day manufacturing operations, managing inventory level, and maximizing the company’s profitability. You will be responsible for planning, supplying, and controlling consigned materials delivered to subcontracting (toll processing) vendors. You will require accurate tracking of material flow, inventory reconciliation, and timely procurement based on production plans
Responsibilities :
- Ability to calculate material requirements based on production plans and ensure timely procurement
of consigned materials
Experience in managing lead times from order placement to delivery andimproving on-time delivery performance
Capability to systematically manage inbound / outbound flows andinventory levels of consigned materials
Experience in conducting regular physical inventory audits and ensuring consistencybetween physical and system inventory records
Skilled in operating inventory control systems to prevent overstock and minimize agingor obsolete stock
Proficiency in handling purchasing transactions based on unit prices and performing IT system (ERP) -based input and closing
Ability to manage purchasing timing and control cost recognition according to material receiptand financial period cut-offs
Experience in managing material transactions to and from subcontractors, including inventory issuanceand return flow control
Ability to monitor material consumption and prevent losses during external processing stagesProven capability in stabilizing material supply through effective communicationand coordination with subcontracting partners
Synchronize information flow between multiple IT systems (GMES, GDW, GSCM, DP, DW, FP, MRP, WMS, etc.)Work closely with production strategy to align production KPIs and company's goalsDefining appropriate Inventory stock level and checking the observance of inventory operation policyMonitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage(from raw material,semi product, final product)
Promptly address and resolving production issues to minimize delays in productionPromptly discuss the relevant departments regarding changes to current production schedulesLeadership scheduling and supportPerform other duties as assignedQualifications :
Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent, relevant experienceExperience :
1 to 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the ESS industrySkills :
Strong written and oral communication skillsLeadership and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and understanding of multiple metricsAnalytical and problem solving skillsAbility to work cross-functionallyFluency in Korean preferredMS Office suite
