Mission Systems Architect

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Mission Systems Architect to join our team in Stafford, VA . In this role, you will play a key part in supporting Marine Corps mission engineering initiatives by aligning Modeling, Simulation, Analysis, and Wargaming (MS&A) activities with warfighting experimentation and joint interoperability efforts. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and execute high-impact projects that directly influence operational readiness and decision-making.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Define and translate mission objectives into system architectures, requirements, and design specifications in alignment with DoDAF / UAF standards.
• Develop mission concepts of operations (CONOPS), operational scenarios, and performance models to ensure comprehensive mission planning and execution.
• Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods and tools to generate, maintain, and interpret mission architecture views, ensuring traceability between mission needs and technical solutions.
• Lead integration, verification, and validation efforts to confirm system readiness and mission success across the program lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders—including analysts, warfighters, developers, and subject matter experts—to align mission objectives with system capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
