As a Data Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and governing enterprise-wide data strategies that drive business insights and operational efficiency. You will lead initiatives to improve data quality, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and enable effective data governance across the organization. Collaborating with business and IT stakeholders, you will translate complex requirements into scalable data architectures and solutions. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to guide transformation efforts, influence decision-making, and oversee data-related projects. You will have the opportunity to work remotely while managing high-impact projects that shape how data is leveraged and protected enterprise-wide.
Accountabilities :
In this role, you will be responsible for :
- Establishing and governing an enterprise data governance roadmap, including priorities for data capabilities and service migration.
- Implementing data governance frameworks to improve data quality and protect sensitive information through policies, standards, and processes.
- Defining roles and accountability for stewardship of critical organizational data assets.
- Serving as a liaison between business, functional areas, and technology teams to ensure data requirements are clearly defined and compliant with federal standards.
- Maintaining an inventory of enterprise information maps, including authoritative systems and data owners.
- Facilitating the development and adoption of data quality and protection standards across the organization.
- Defining key performance indicators, monitoring compliance, and providing progress updates on data governance initiatives.
- Coordinating external data sources to eliminate redundancy and optimize enterprise data usage.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Minimum 5 years of experience in large-scale data or project management in a major services organization.At least 3 years in a data architect role with experience leading transformation initiatives.Knowledge of industry-leading data quality, data protection, and data governance practices.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and emerging trends in enterprise data management.Strong consulting and change management skills, including communication, cultural change, and performance measurement.Expertise in risk data architecture, technology solutions, and cloud data platforms (preferred : Microsoft Azure).Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage senior relationships across business and functional areas.Demonstrated skills in project prioritization, decision-making, and breaking down complex problems into actionable goals.Highest personal and professional integrity, strong work ethic, and results-oriented mindset.US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.Benefits
