Scope Of Assignment
Under the general supervision of the Division Dean for the discipline, the successful applicant will provide lecture and / or laboratory instruction in accordance with course descriptions, outlines, and class schedules; evaluate progress of students; advise students concerning educational matters, and perform other related duties as assigned. The successful candidate will join a History / Political Science department that continues to create curriculum responsive to student needs and to increase student completion through strategies aimed at improving student equity.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's in History / Political Science OR Bachelor's in History / Political Science AND Master's in political science, humanities, geography, area studies, women's studies, social science or ethnic studies OR the equivalent. And / or Master's in political science, government, or international relations OR Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's in economics, history, public administration, social science, sociology, and any ethnic studies, Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) or Legum Baccalaureus (LL.B.)
