Role Overview

A highly respected healthcare system is seeking a Surgical Services Leader to oversee a large, high-acuity perioperative department. This is a career-defining leadership role for a data-driven, high-energy RN leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth hospital settings.

Responsibilities : ?? Lead 120+ FTEs across OR, SPD, PreOp, PACU, PAT, Endo, & Anesthesia Techs ?? Develop strategies to expand surgical volume & grow high-complexity service lines (spine, ortho, neuro) ?? Strengthen physician relationships & enhance team performance ?? Ensure compliance, budgeting, and staff recruitment / retention ?? Act as a hands-on leader, assisting as a scrub or circulator when needed

What You Need To Succeed

• ? RN License Required (CA preferred; open to out-of-state candidates) ? Bachelor's in Nursing required; Master's preferred (MBA, MHA, MSN) ? 5+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume OR (minimum 3 years) ? Union experience preferred ? Proven success in data-driven operational improvements & OR efficiency
