Strong knowledge of state laws and regulations related to Commercial Litigation. Familiar with working with large clients and consultations. Construction Law experience. Business Law, Appeals, Civil Litigation, Real Estate Litigation experience. Must have outstanding negotiation and client interaction skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with high-volume practices. Highly organized, detail oriented with strong empathy and interpersonal skills and a customer-service orientation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English; Spanish helpful. Ability to multitask and handle high-stress, sensitive situations with confidentiality. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to learn and retain new information; excellent planning and reporting skills. Reliable and dependable; excellent proofreading skills. This job requires the use and exercise of independent judgment. Experience with high-volume cases and strong client-service orientation. Filevine, Lead Docket Juris Doctor (J.D) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed in Florida. 5-7 years of Associate Litigation experience required. 5–7 years of experience in Construction Law is helpful.

Bogin Munns and Munns is a full-service law firm that has served Central Florida's legal needs for over 40 years, with 40+ attorneys and 11 offices throughout Central Florida. We have an immediate need for a skilled and motivated Commercial Litigation Attorney with 5 - 7 years of experience for our Orlando office with experience in Construction Law and handling hearings and depositions to join our team and build our increasingly busy Commercial Litigation practice.
Responsibilities
- Diligently prepare cases, legal strategies, and legal correspondence.
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, such as hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
- Experience with electronic discovery tools.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to provide advice and guidance to clients.
- Develop an expert-level understanding of our client cases.
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
- Draft motions and briefs with minimal supervision.
- Manage various projects and deadlines and prepare and revise documents.
- Explain legal terminology to clients succinctly in a timely manner.
- Research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions.
- Develop solutions to complex legal questions.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals, deadlines, and objectives.
- Ensure that project / department milestones / goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
- A minimum of 1800 billable hours and receipts of 300k are expected.
- Comply with Bogin, Munns and Munns policies and procedures.
- Partner with colleagues to share information, resolve client issues, and support all client projects.
- Regularly effectively communicate with clients regarding procedural, case processing issues, and case strategy.
- Supervise the work of paralegal staff and legal assistants in record keeping and document preparation to ensure no mistakes are made.

This is an onsite position with potential for hybrid.
Bonuses and commissions are negotiable and will be commensurate with an appropriate level of receipts for total compensation.
