You will assist residents with daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) and be part of a committed nursing team. Your responsibilities will include : \n

• Delivering age-appropriate care according to individual care plans.\n
• Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.\n
• Monitoring vital signs and documenting care-related details.\n
• Helping residents with mobility and exercise activities.\n
• Preparing and assisting with meals to ensure a positive dining experience.\n
• Communicating any changes in residents' conditions to the charge nurse.\n
• Maintaining cleanliness in resident living areas.\n
• Encouraging participation in wellness and recreational programs.\n
• Assisting with laundry and housekeeping tasks as needed.\n
• Engaging in departmental committees as opportunities arise.\n\nQualifications\n
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.\n
• Must be at least 16 years old, with prior experience in a long-term care setting preferred.\n
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing is required, or must obtain certification within four months of hire.\n
• Completion of annual competency testing and continuing education (minimum of 12 hours each year) is mandatory.\n
• Must meet state requirements for Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry, if applicable.\n
