About The Position

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join a diagnostic imaging team in the Bronx. This role requires strong technical skills in mammography and a compassionate approach to patient care. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures to support accurate and timely diagnoses in compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate mammography equipment and perform high-quality diagnostic imaging of the breast

Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process

Adhere to all radiation safety policies and regulatory guidelines

Accurately maintain patient records and imaging data in accordance with hospital procedures

Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure proper examination and image quality

Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the equipment and imaging room

Comply with infection control procedures and clinical protocols

Assist with scheduling, documentation, and patient preparation when necessary

Job Requirements

Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum 1 year of recent mammography technologist experience using relevant imaging equipment

Education : Associate's degree preferred

Licensure :

Valid Radiologic Technologist License issued by New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH)

Post-primary certification in Mammography (ARRT) – Required

Certifications :

BLS certification – Preferred
