Our Client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Direct Support Professional- Trained Medication Employee (TME) in the Washington, DC area.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Support persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with physical disability or medical and behavioral challenges
- Assist Individuals with their daily activities, perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide companionship
- Provide a secure and responsive environment that enables Individuals to maximize their physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual capabilities
- Provide independent living skills training, and guidance to residents regarding social skills, transportation, health and personal hygiene, food preparation, and housekeeping
- Provide patient care, update records, and accurately complete forms
- Transport and accompany to appointments, community events, and outings
