About Our Client : My client is a $700M+ general contractor with locations in Kansas City, and four other cities across the nation. Their biggest sector is K-12, but also do quite a bit of Multi-family and Healthcare as well. The Kansas City office is newer - with big plans to grow in 2025 and onward. This role provides a great opportunity to be a part of a tight knit group that has no forecast to stop growing while being backed by a large successful nationwide GC. It also provides the opportunity to work on large complex projects you might not get the opportunity to at a smaller GC or office of this similar size - all local to the office you work out of.

Job Description

Manage on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Oversee subcontractors and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to address any challenges or changes.

Maintain and enforce project schedules and timelines.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with specifications.

Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports.

Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and materials on-site.

Foster strong communication among team members and stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have :

Experience managing local construction projects from start to finish.

Strong knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.

Proven ability to lead and coordinate on-site teams effectively.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and organizational abilities.
