Job Description

This role offers a range of $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.

We are seeking a 3rd shift Mill Operator to work with us. We have a very competitive starting pay plus a shift differential when applicable. The person in this role will tend mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind the raw materials for manufacturing of high-quality printing ink by performing any or all of these duties as directed. As an Ink Maker / Ink Tech you will be responsible for :

• Following batch instructions to weight batches, charge and mix inks
• Understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials
• Monitoring temperature and mix speeds and adjust as needed
• Following procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates
• Following procedures to filter, package and label inks
• Making QC adjustments as instructed
• Weighting quantities of raw materials for use in manufacturing of high quality printing ink
• Operating one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner to mix raw materials for manufacturing of high quality printing ink
• Packaging finished product
• Operating a forklift
