The team focuses on technical standards, regulatory insight and modern delivery. This position is suitable for an experienced Bid Writer with a background in the asbestos or water sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Review tender portals for new bid opportunities.
  • Full bid management.
  • Develop, write and edit high quality material that responds to client needs and articulates win themes through understanding client needs and scoring criteria.
  • Format proposals according to client requirements and company standards.
  • Ensure timely submission of bids within strict deadlines.
  • Develop engaging case studies by liaising with subject matter experts across the business.
  • Maintain bid library.
  • Provide general administrative support to the sales team.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Bid Writer, ideally within the asbestos, environmental, or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of asbestos regulations, management processes, and industry terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with online tender portals.

  • Experience contributing to social value or sustainability sections of bids.
  • Knowledge of wider environmental or compliance service sectors.
