Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist - General

Seeking a skilled Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist for a hospital in Harbor City, CA. This opportunity allows you to work in a dynamic hospital environment, providing anesthesia care across various surgical specialties. Harbor City, part of the South Bay region of Los Angeles, is renowned for its pleasant climate and proximity to beautiful beaches and cultural attractions.

Job Details

Setting : Hospital

Start Date : July 24, 2025

Duration : 13 weeks, with an option to extend

Shift : 9 or 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday

Shifts per Week : 4

Job Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist

Active California Medical License

California DEA License

BLS Certification through AHA

Minimum of 1 year of experience in anesthesiology

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for General Surgery, Colorectal, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Vascular, Endovascular, Gastroenterology, and Orthopedics

Handle healthy pediatrics low acuity cases (e.g., Ear Tubes)

Collaborate with CRNAs and assist if needed

Utilize EPIC (Health Connect) for electronic medical records
