About The Position
🏥 Position Description
We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND , starting January 2026 . This role is ideal for physicians looking for flexible scheduling, excellent support staff, and a manageable patient volume in an inpatient pediatric and newborn setting.
- Location : Altru Hospital – 1200 S Columbia Rd, Grand Forks, ND
- Start Date : January 2026 – Ongoing
- Schedule : 1–2 weeks per month
- Shift Structure : 24-hour pager call (7 AM – 7 AM), 7 days / week
- On-site presence not required during call
- Setting : Inpatient Pediatrics & Newborn / Nursery Units
- Beds : 18 pediatric / newborn + 5 nursery beds
- Average Census : ~8 patients / day
