Responsibilities
As a Structural Engineer on the Electrical Power team, you will lead the design and analysis of steel, concrete, and foundation systems for power transmission, substations, and related facilities. This role involves collaborating with clients, coordinating project schedules and budgets, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout each projects lifecycle.
Duties :
Perform structural engineering design and analysis, ensuring compliance with AISC, NESC, ACI, and ASCE standardsOversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control to deliver projects on time and within scopeCollaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver innovative and constructible solutionsMaintain organized project documentation, calculations, and reporting in project management systemsQualifications
3+ years of experience with structural design for power transmission or substation projectsBachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET / EAC-accredited programProfessional Engineer (PE) license in Civil or Structural EngineeringStrong expertise in steel, concrete, and foundation design and analysisAbility to conduct field visits, inspections, and site verificationsValid drivers license and satisfactory driving recordProficiency with Risa3D, PLS Pole, Allpile, and / or MFAD softwareFamiliarity with AISC, NESC, ACI 318, and ASCE 113 standardsApply today if youre a Structural Engineer with experience in power infrastructure projects.
