Customer Service Representative

Position Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for Plansmembers, providers, and internal stakeholders, responding to inquiries via phone, written correspondence, and electronic platforms such as Skype or chat.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely once you've demonstrated proficiency in our systems and consistently meet performance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, letters, and electronic communication.
• Provide accurate information and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Document all customer interactions thoroughly in the customer service database(s).
• Practice active listening and maintain a fair and equitable approach in all responses.
• Adhere to compliance rules, policies, and standards.
• Required Skills & Experience :
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in a high-volume, production-style customer service role.
• Prior experience working with Health Plans or Payors is required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated accountability and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Preferred Skills :
• Familiarity with Medicare, insurance, and health plan operations.
• Experience in a call center environment.

Required Work Experience :

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a production style customer service-related role
• Must Have previous Health Plan / Payor Experience

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 / hr.
