Highbrow is recruiting Sound Technicians and Broadcast Technicians for the Common Lives Project, a research program using wearable GoPro footage to improve AI understanding of technical and creative work.
Role Overview – Sound Technicians
Record your sound mixing, audio setup, or studio routines as part of this short-term paid project.
Responsibilities :
- Wear a head-mounted GoPro camera to capture daily activities for 5 separate days within a 2-week window
- Record a minimum of 7 hours per day, with flexibility for breaks and privacy
- At the end of each day, spend ~2 hours to decide whether to delete, anonymize, or consent to each segment
Participant Requirements :
Must be actively engaged in audio production or sound engineering tasks (e.g., mixing, recording, setting up audio equipment)Self-employed or employer consent requiredComfortable using a computer for upload / review tasksHighbrow is also recruiting Broadcast Technicians for the Common Lives Project, a research program using wearable GoPro footage to improve AI understanding of technical and operational work.
