Position Overview
We're hiring a Lead Commercial HVAC Installer to oversee and execute the installation of commercial HVAC systems across a variety of projects. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise and proven leadership experience who thrives on keeping jobs on track, mentoring crews, and upholding high-quality standards.
You'll be the point person on job sites, ensuring installations are completed on time, on budget, and up to code-while serving as a role model for safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of installers on commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finishInterpret and review blueprints, mechanical plans, and job scopesCoordinate with project managers, GCs, and other trades to ensure timelines and deliverables are metOversee material takeoffs, inventory, and ordering as neededEnsure all work complies with local codes, OSHA guidelines, and company safety policiesTrain and mentor apprentices and junior installersPerform system start-ups and ensure all installations pass inspectionsCommunicate progress and jobsite updates clearly with leadershipQualifications
Minimum 5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory roleStrong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, duct layouts, piping, controls, and startup proceduresAbility to read blueprints and mechanical schematics confidentlyExcellent leadership and problem-solving skillsEPA 608 Certification requiredValid driver's license and insurable driving recordOSHA 10 or 30 certification preferredAbility to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in elevated or tight spacesStrong communication skills and a focus on safety, quality, and efficiencyApply Today!
