Position Overview
\n\n
HumanEdge Health is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a travel assignment in Danbury, CT . This role will focus on providing comprehensive care to post-anesthesia patients in a high-acuity, Level II Trauma setting.
\n\n
Responsibilities
\n\n
\n
Provide immediate post-anesthesia nursing care and monitoring for surgical patients
\n\n
Assess and manage patient recovery from sedation and anesthesia
\n\n
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and PACU staff to ensure safe patient transitions
\n\n
Document all care in Cerner EMR
\n\n
Respond quickly to patient changes and emergencies
\n\n
\n\n
Qualifications
\n\n
\n
Valid RN license (state-eligible or CT license at time of start)
\n\n
Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS
\n\n
Minimum 2 years of PACU or critical care experience
\n\n
Strong clinical judgment in post-op patient care
\n\n
Experience in acute hospital settings preferred
\n\n
\n\n
